John Rodgers, originally from Oklahoma, came to Colorado Springs, Colorado with Hewlet- Packard where he was a top sales representative for the company before making the change to commercial real estate. After a few years at a national brokerage firm, John decided to form Peak Commercial Properties to have more control of his business outcomes and to make a more direct impact for his clients. He has since been able to expand and cultivate a reputation of excellence in nearly all areas of real estate within the Colorado Springs area. John’s experience, knowledge, investment expertise, and certifications have allowed Peak Commercial Properties to expand their client roster to include financial institutions, with whom he is able to assist with a variety of services and all property types. John has consistently been one of the top commercial brokers in the city and has been involved with some of the most successful commercial developments in Colorado Springs. -AMPEX Facility – redevelopment of 240,000 SF on approximately 20 acres.
-Metso Minerals – disposition of 270,000 SF on approximately in downtown Colorado Springs.
-University of Colorado at Colorado Springs – redevelopment of 132,000 SF on 10 acres.
-FedEx – Acquisition of 5.7 acres for a build-to-suit trucking terminal.
-Diversified Machine Systems – Acquisition of 70,000 SF facility.
-Financial Institutions – Represented multiple financial institutions and have been involved in over 50 REO Sales.
John Rodgers has a SIOR & CCIM designation, allowing him to provide superior service to his clients because of his in-depth understanding of financial analysis, market analysis, user decision analysis, and investment analysis.
John received his BBA from the University of Oklahoma. He also served the University as an advisor to the Dean of the Business College and was President of multiple organizations at the University of Oklahoma. His international education was completed in Paderno, Italy. He received many awards and scholarships from the University of Oklahoma, including the Pace Award (Top 1% of Student Body), Dennis G. McLaughlin Award ( Top 4 students in the student body), and the R, Boyd Gunning Scholarship.

Leadership Pikes Peak Graduate – Executives in the community that are selected to participate in a one year program that prepare them for involvement and problem solving with major issues, strategic planning and local government in Colorado Springs.
Board Member – Colorado Springs Rotary Club – Provides leadership and strategic planning for Colorado Springs Rotary Club.
Board Member – Champions – Program provides scholarship and recognition to well rounded students (High Academic Standards, Community involvement, and Athletic Leadership).
Marketing Committee – Economic Development Corporation – Assist with strategic planning for Marketing the City of Colorado Springs to attract new companies to Colorado Springs.
